Zoriah: Lebanon's 34-Day War (Color Series)

(This color series is the bookend to Zoriah's earlier B&W series on the same subject) The following text and photographs have been sent in by Zoriah:    In July of 2006 a  34-day war between Israel and Lebanon left over a thousand dead and some 975,000 Lebanese civilians homeless and in refugee status.  Much of South Lebanon remains uninhabitable due to the massive amount of devastation to homes and infrastructure.  An extremely high number of unexploded Israeli Cluster Bombs which act as land mines continue to exact a high toll, especially on children and civilians and hospitals have been overwhelmed with the severe injuries.  Although Hezbollah has offered aid and support in rebuilding, thousands are still struggling to survive in the ruined cities that they cannot afford to leave or to rebuild.
